Max’s second official The Penguin teaser shows Oz Cobb declaring himself the new shot caller following the death of Carmine Falcone. However, the Falcone family begs to differ.
Oscar nominee Colin Farrell reprises his role from The Batman for the eight-episode limited series. The series, based on the DC Comics, also stars Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, Rhenzy Feliz as Victor Aguilar, Michael Kelly as Johnny Viti, and Shohreh Aghdashloo as Nadia Maroni. Deirdre O’Connell plays Francis Cobb, Clancy Brown is Salvatore Maroni, James Madio is Milos Grapa, and Scott Cohen is Luca Falcone.
Rounding out The Penguin cast are Michael Zegen as Alberto Falcone, Carmen Ejogo as Eve Karlo, and Theo Rossi as Dr. Julian Rush.
Lauren LeFranc developed the limited series and serves as writer and executive producer. The Batman director Matt Reeves also executive produces along with series star Colin Farrell, Dylan Clark, Craig Zobel, Daniel Pipski, and Bill Carraro. Zobel directed the first three episodes.
The series is produced by Matt Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
The Penguin premieres this September.
