Filming is officially underway in Los Angeles on the upcoming third season of Netflix’s Nobody Wants This. Kristen Bell returns to star as Joanne the podcaster and Adam Brody is back as Noah the rabbi. Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Thon are also returning for season three of the Emmy-nominated comedy.
The popular series premiered in September 2024, followed by season two in October 2025. Season three is targeting a 2026 premiere.
Netflix hasn’t released a season three synopsis. Season two’s reads: “First comes love, then comes life. The last time we saw agnostic podcast host Joanne and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah, their unmatched chemistry surprised everyone in their lives, including her sister Morgan (Lupe), his brother Sasha (Simons), and sister-in-law Esther (Tohn), and even themselves. Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now, they’re back and fully committed to merging their lives—and loved ones—together. But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them.”
Erin Foster created the series and serves as an executive producer. Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan guide the series as co-showrunners and executive producers. Additional executive producers include Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Nora Silver, Steven Levitan, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, and Oly Obst.
