John Krasinski isn’t done with his action-hero era quite yet. Krasinski returns to star in Amazon MGM Studios’ Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War, reprising his role as the titular character after four seasons of playing Ryan in the Prime Video series.
Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly also reprise their roles in this R-rated film streaming on Prime Video on May 20, 2026. Sienna Miller joins the Jack Ryan world as MI6 officer Emma Marlowe. The cast also includes Max Beesley, JJ Feild, Douglas Hodge, and Betty Gabriel.
Amazon MGM Studios offers this synopsis:
“In this new film, Jack Ryan is reluctantly thrust back into the world of espionage when an international covert mission unravels a deadly conspiracy, forcing him to confront a rogue black-ops unit, and the clock is ticking. Krasinski and Aaron Rabin wrote the screenplay, based on the world created by Tom Clancy. Andrew Bernstein directs, and Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, and Andrew Form are the producers. Executive producers include Tom Clancy, John J. Kelly, Alexa Ginsburg, and Carlton Cuse.
