The cast of The Hunting Wives has reunited for season two, which is now currently in production. Returning series stars include Brittany Snow as Sophie and Malin Akerman as Margo. And the big question is, will Akerman have a better wig? Netflix’s start of production announcement acknowledged the controversial hairpiece, teasing, “Sophie, Margo, and Margo’s wig are back in production.”

Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, and George Ferrier also reprise their roles in the upcoming second season. Karen Rodriguez and Hunter Emery will be back as Deputy Salazar and Deputy Flynn, respectively. Fans can also expect to see Branton Box back as Sheriff Johnny.

“At the start of season two, Sophie and Margo are on the outs, reads Netflix’s season two synopsis. “But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?”

Rebecca Cutter created the series, based on May Cobb’s bestselling novel. Cutter serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Erwin Stoff also executive produces the eight-episode second season.
