‘The Witcher’ Season 4 Trailer Shows More of Liam Hemsworth as Geralt

The Witcher Season 4 Liam Hemsworth

Stay out of the comments section of Netflix’s The Witcher season four trailer on YouTube. It’s loaded with opinions on the switch from Henry Cavill to Liam Hemsworth, as expected. The official trailer focuses on Hemsworth’s Geralt and Freya Allan’s Ciri and features lots of action along with Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer warning, “Something is shifting on this Continent.”

“After the Continent-altering events of season three, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “As their paths diverge and their goals sharpen, they stumble on unexpected allies eager to join their journeys. And if they can accept these found families, they just might have a chance at reuniting for good…”

Commenting on season four, showrunner, creator, and executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich told Tudum, “We send them each on their own journey—a very different journey than anything they’ve done before, which is where we start in season 4.”
