Season one of AMC’s Nautilus just debuted a 45-second teaser, showing off the undersea world and teasing, “From the darkest depths of the ocean comes the ultimate fight for survival.” The action drama will premiere on June 29, 2025 with the release of the first two episodes.
New episodes of the 10-episode season air on Sundays at 9pm ET/PT.
Shazad Latif (Black Mirror) stars as Captain Nemo. The season one cast also includes Georgia Flood (Apples Never Fall) as Humility Lucas, Céline Menville (Emily in Paris) as Loti, and Thierry Fremont (Liaison) as Benoit. Richard E. Grant, Anna Torv, and Noah Taylor guest star.

“Inspired by Jules Verne’s beloved Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Nautilus follows Nemo’s (Latif) mission to enact revenge on the East India Mercantile Company, who took everything from him. Nemo audaciously steals a prototype submarine from the penal colony in which he is imprisoned, escaping into the ocean with a motley crew of fellow prisoners,” reads AMC’s synopsis. “He plans to reach the fabled Viking treasure buried at the Pillars of Halvar. But first, he must win the trust of his crew and keep out of the clutches of the ruthless East India Mercantile Company, who will do whatever it takes to stop him.”
Moonriver TV’s Xavier Marchand and Seven Stories’ Anand Tucker developed the series and serve as producers along with Cameron Welsh. James Dormer is the writer, and Michael Matthews is the lead director. Dormer, Johanna Devereaux, Chris Loveall, Colleen Woodcock, and Daisy Gilbert executive produce.
