Even though the world’s better off without Grace’s husband, that doesn’t mean the world of Bad Sisters‘ titular characters is all sunshine and roses. The cops have questions, and the sisters will have to figure out who (if anyone) to trust in season two of the award-winning dramedy.
Emmy Award nominee Sharon Horgan created the series and stars along with Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene and Eve Hewson. The season two cast also includes Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, and Peter Claffey. In addition, F Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Daryl McCormack, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon, and Justine Mitchell are part of the talented ensemble cast.
“Two years after the ‘accidental death’ of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on, but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed, and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust,” reads Apple TV+’s synopsis.
Bad Sisters kicks off season two with the release of the first two episodes on November 13, 2024. New episodes of the eight-episode season stream on Wednesdays.
Season two executive producers include Horgan, Faye Dorn, Clelia Mountford, Bert Hamelinck, Dave Finkel, Brett Baer, and Michael Sagol. Dearbhla Walsh is an executive producer and director. The award-winning series is adapted from Malin-Sarah Gozin’s Belgian series Clan. Gozin’s involved as an executive producer.
