Two-time Primetime Emmy nominee Natasha Rothwell’s new comedy series How to Die Alone has landed a September premiere date on Hulu. The new half-hour comedy, which will debut on September 13, 2024, also released its first official poster.
Four episodes will drop on September 13, followed by new episodes on Fridays.
“How to Die Alone follows Mel (Natasha Rothwell), a broke, fat, Black JFK airport employee who’s never been in love and forgotten how to dream, until an accidental brush with death catapults her on a journey to finally take flight and start living by any means necessary,” reads Hulu’s synopsis.
In addition to Rothwell (Insecure), season one of the Onyx Collective production also stars Conrad Ricamora as Rory, Jocko Sims as Alex, and KeiLyn Durrel Jones as Terrance. Bashir Salahuddin appears in a recurring guest star role as Brian.
Natasha Rothwell created the series and serves as a co-showrunner with Vera Santamaria. Rothwell, Santamaria, and Desiree Akhavan executive produce. How to Die Alone is produced by ABC Signature in association with Big Hattie Productions.
