Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie had the honor of announcing the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2024 inductees during the April 21st episode of American Idol. This year’s inductees include four first-time performer nominees: Cher, Foreigner, Kool & the Gang, and Peter Frampton. And the class of 2024 is one of the museum’s largest, with 16 inductees total in four distinct categories.
“Rock & Roll is an ever-evolving amalgam of sounds that impacts culture and moves generations,” said John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. “This diverse group of inductees each broke down musical barriers and influenced countless artists that followed in their footsteps.”
