SoCal to see more warm temperatures Thursday, but cooldown in store for the weekend

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — It’ll be pretty warm on Thursday in Southern California with some regions reaching the 80s and 90s, but relief is on the way with a weekend cooldown.

Temperatures are expected to return to the mid-70s by Friday.

In Los Angeles and Orange counties, temperatures will reach 82 degrees on Thursday amid breezy conditions. Temperatures drop to 62 degrees at night.

The valleys and Inland Empire will be hot for most of Thursday. The region will reach 93 degrees and will fall to 64 degrees at night.

Beaches will be pleasant on Thursday with temperatures in the 70s amid morning clouds and afternoon sunshine. Night temperatures dip to 63 degrees.

Mountain communities on Thursday sunny and warm with temperatures reaching 82 degrees during the day, and falling to 51 degrees at night.

Deserts on Thursday will be hot, sunny and windy, with a high of 99 degrees. Temperatures at night will drop to 66 degrees.
