We get the serious version of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in the official trailer for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. He’s taken on a leadership role of the diverse group of superheroes, warning the newly formed team, “I’ve fought with many warriors in my time. They were far stronger than all of us put together. And they died. They died facing enemies and threats that scared me far less than this one.”
They don’t stand a chance unless they stand together against Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.). The “they” includes Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Florence Pugh as Yelena, and Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman.
