NBC’s trailer for season two of Brilliant Minds teases cases involving a man who doesn’t have control of his arm and a woman who believes she’s escaping a reality TV set. Zachary Quinto returns to lead the cast as the brilliant Dr. Oliver Wolf when the new season premieres on September 22, 2025 at 10pm ET/PT.
Season two also stars Tamberla Perry as Dr. Carol Pierce, Ashleigh LaThrop as Dr. Ericka Kinney, Alex MacNicoll as Dr. Van Markus, Aury Krebs as Dr. Dana Dang, Spence Moore II as Dr. Jacob Nash, Teddy Sears as Dr. Josh Nichols, and Donna Murphy as Dr. Muriel Landon. John Clarence Stewart is Dr. Anthony Thorne, Brian Altemus is Dr. Charlie Porter, and Al Calderon is Nurse Scotty Silva.
“Inspired by world-famous author and neurologist Oliver Sacks, season two continues to follow Dr. Wolf and his team at Bronx General as they delve into medical mysteries of the mind,” reads NBC’s synopsis. “Ultimately, they come face-to-face with the question: Who deserves care?”
Michael Grassi created the series and serves as writer and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, DeMane Davis, Jasmine Russ, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis, and Shefali Malhoutra.
