Lady Gaga leads the pack of MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) nominees for the third time in her career, adding 12 nominations to her tally. Bruno Mars was close behind with 11, followed by Kendrick Lamar with 10, ROSÉ and Sabrina Carpenter with eight, and Ariana Grande and The Weeknd with seven.
Billie Eilish earned six, Charli xcx picked up five, and Bad Bunny, Doechii, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, Miley Cyrus, and Tate McRae each earned four. The 2025 VMAs winners will be announced live from NY’s UBS Arena on Sunday, September 7 at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
MTV added Best Country and Best Pop Artist categories to the awards show this year. And fans can now vote for 19 categories at vote.mtv.com.
