David Morrell’s bestseller Creepers gets the big screen treatment with Do Not Enter, which just released its first trailer. The first-look video shows an investigation inside an abandoned hotel as a voiceover says, “A powerful secret has been shared with me. What must be done, must be done.”
Adeline Rudolph (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) plays Diane, Nicholas Hamilton (IT) is Tod, Francesca Reale (Stranger Things) stars as Cora, Jake Manley (The Order) is Rick, and Laurence O’Fourain (The Witcher: Blood Origin) plays Frank Balenger. The supernatural thriller also stars Kai Caster (Yellowstone) as JD, Shane Paul McGhie (Unbelievable) as Vernon, Brennan Keel Cook (The Pale Blue Eye) as Mack, and Javier Botet (The Conjuring) as Pale Creature.
“The Creepers are thrill-seeking urban explorers who love pushing things to the edge, and their latest stunt – livestreaming from New Jersey’s abandoned Paragon Hotel – is their biggest yet. With its mobster past, supposed ghosts, and rumored stash of $300 million, the Paragon is catnip to the Creepers, a surefire way to increase their fanbase. But fear has other plans. Daring to enter the Paragon, not heeding the warnings, the Creepers fend off deadly rivals while supernatural creatures stalk them from the shadows, testing their endurance, sanity, and willingness to pay fame’s heavy price,” reads Lionsgate’s synopsis.
Award-winning music video director Marc Klasfeld makes his feature film debut with Do Not Enter. Stephen Susco adapted Morrell’s book, and Jordan Schur serves as a producer.
“We have arrived at our destination with a powerful script adapted from a timeless book and a gifted director leading the charge,” said Schur, Chairman and CEO of Suretone Pictures. “We could not ask for a better partner in Lionsgate.”
Klasfeld commented, “I have waited decades to find the right feature film project to which I could truly dedicate myself.”
And Eda Kowan, Lionsgate’s Executive Vice President of Acquisitions, said, “We are excited to work with Jordan and the team at Suretone along with Marc Klasfeld to bring this supernatural adventure thriller to audiences everywhere.”
