John Slattery, Jessica Henwick, and Ellen Robertson have joined the cast of Netflix’s Vladimir as series regulars. The streamer also confirmed Kayli Carter, Miriam Silverman, Mallori Johnson, Matt Walsh, Tattiawna Jones, and Louise Lambert have been cast in recurring roles.

The new additions join Rachel Weisz, who’s on board to star and executive produce, and Leo Woodall as the titular character.

The eight-episode limited series is based on Julia May Jonas’ bestselling novel, with Jonas involved as the series’ creator, writer, and executive producer. Netflix’s casting announcement did not indicate a target release date.

John Slattery (Mad Men) plays John, Jessica Henwick (Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery) plays Cynthia, and Ellen Robertson (Mickey 17) is on board as Sid. Kayli Carter (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) recurs as Lila, Miriam Silverman (Your Friends and Neighbors) plays Florence, Mallori Johnson (Steal Away) is Edwina, Matt Walsh (Veep) plays David, Tattiawna Jones (Murderbot) is Alexis, and Louise Lambert (Ginny & Georgia) is Dawn.

“As a woman’s life unravels, she becomes obsessed with her captivating new colleague,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “Full of sexy secrets, dark humor, and complex characters, Vladimir is about what happens when a woman goes hell-bent to turn her fantasies into reality.”

Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini (Things Heard & Seen) will direct the pilot and two additional episodes, and also executive produce. Additional executive producers include Sharon Horgan, Stacy Greenberg, Kira Carstensen, Jason Winer, and Jon Radler.
