CBS has tapped Big Brother winners Taylor Hale and Derrick Levasseur to serve as hosts of the new Big Brother: Unlocked biweekly series. The BB offshoot will air every other Friday, beginning on July 25, 2025 at 8pm ET/PT, and will take fans behind-the-scenes of season 27.

Taylor Hale entered the Big Brother history book by winning season 24. Hale was the first Black woman to win, as well as the first participant to earn both the grand prize and America’s Favorite Houseguest wins. Derrick Levasseur made it through his time in the Big Brother house without facing eviction until season 16’s final three.

Season 27 debuted on July 10, 2025 with a 90-minute episode that aired at 8pm ET/PT. New episodes air on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

“Taylor and Derrick will guide viewers through never-before-seen broadcast footage, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes moments from inside the Big Brother house. Big Brother: Unlocked will feature recurring segments like ‘BB Fantasy Draft,’ ‘Big Move/Bad Move,’ and ‘Binge Worthy or Cringe Worthy.’ Throughout the season, Taylor and Derrick will be joined by mystery celebrity guests and surprise Big Brother alumni to break down the drama and deliver exclusive insights,” reads CBS’s synopsis. “Keep your eyes on the official Big Brother Instagram (@bigbrothercbs) – clues will be posted for fans to crack the mystery and guess which celebrity guest will be joining the panel!”
