The trailer for Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders season two teases fierce competition for a spot on the squad, along with some heartbreaking cuts. The new seven episode season will premiere on June 18, 2025.

“From Emmy Award-winning director Greg Whiteley and the team behind Cheer and Last Chance U, the fan-favorite series will return to continue giving viewers unfiltered access into this iconic team and franchise,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “Season two will follow the 2024-25 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad from start to finish — kicking off at auditions and training camp and continuing all the way through the NFL season.”

According to Netflix’s Tudum, only 23 out of the 36 veterans returned to try for a spot on the squad for the 2024-25 season. Because of that, this season’s rookie class is larger than any of the previous five years.

Greg Whiteley returned as director and serves as an executive producer along with Adam Leibowitz, Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard, Ross M. Dinerstein, and Rebecca Evans. The series is produced by One Potato Productions and Boardwalk Pictures in association with Campfire Studios.
