Fox has officially renewed the medical drama Doc starring Molly Parker (House of Cards) for a second season. The renewal comes with just one new episode remaining in the series’ first season.
The 10-episode freshman season wraps up on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. The just-announced second season will expand to 22 episodes and is expected to air as part of Fox’s 2025-2026 primetime lineup.

Barbie (Kligman, showrunner and executive producer) and Hank (Steinberg, executive producer) have done an outstanding job bringing one of the most emotionally powerful series on television to life,” stated Michael Thorn, President, FOX Television Network. “Renewing for a second season was an easy decision, thanks to this incredible team, our partners at Sony, and an exceptional cast, led by the talented Molly Parker.”
The series’ premiere pulled in 16 million viewers, enough to make it the network’s most-watched debut in five years. Doc‘s also Fox’s most-streamed series premiere in the past year.

In addition to Molly Parker as Chief of Internal Medicine Dr. Amy Larsen, the first season stars Omar Metwally (The Affair) as Dr. Michael Hamda, Amirah Vann (How to Get Away with Murder) as Dr. Gina Walker, Jon Ecker (Firefly Lane) as Dr. Jake Heller, and Anya Banerjee (The Blacklist) as Dr. Sonya Maitra. Recurring guest stars include Scott Wolf (Party of Five) as Dr. Richard Miller and Patrick Walker (Lessons in Chemistry) as Dr. TJ Coleman.
