SoCal this weekend to see morning clouds, afternoon sunshine

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California this weekend will be warm with some parts seeing morning clouds and afternoon sunshine.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Saturday will see a cloudy morning, followed by a high of 79 degrees in the afternoon when the sun comes out. The region Sunday will see similar conditions.

The valleys and Inland Empire will be warm, hitting a high of 91 degrees on Saturday after morning clouds dissipate. The region can expect morning clouds and a high of 90 Sunday. By early next week, the region will experience a heat wave that will last for a few days.

Beaches on Saturday will see a cool day with some clouds amid a high of 71 by the afternoon. Similar weather is expected Sunday.

Mountains communities on Saturday will see pleasant conditions, as high of 78 and sunshine is expected.

Deserts on Saturday will be hot, with a high of 97 on tap amid sunshine. Palm Springs could reach 105 degrees.
