SoCal to see warm temperatures, light breezes Monday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California will see pleasant, warm conditions on Monday but temperatures will heat up later in the week.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Monday will see a high temperature around 81 degrees, with a few morning clouds and light breezes throughout the day. The area will see similar conditions for another day or two, but will warm to the upper 80s by Friday.

The valleys and Inland Empire will hit about 95 on Monday and then climb up to 100 by Friday with higher levels of humidity.

Beaches will be breezy and temperate with a high of about 72 on Monday.

Mountains will be sunny and warm Monday with temperatures hitting the mid-80s. The region could see some thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday.

Deserts will be hot all week, with temperatures staying over 100 through at least Friday.
