SoCal to see warm conditions Sunday as tropical storm forms in Pacific

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Some tropical moisture is flowing through the Southern California region, bringing more humid and hot conditions over the next several days.

A tropical storm is forming in the Pacific Ocean off Mexico. The next storm is set to be named Estelle. It is likely to bring strong waves for surfers off the Southern California coast later in the week.

On Sunday, Los Angeles and Orange counties will start off with some morning clouds, making way for sunny, warm and breezy conditions by the afternoon amid a high of 82 degrees.

The valleys and Inland Empire will be hot and sunny, reaching 100 degrees on Sunday.

Beaches will be breezy with a high of about 74 degrees on Sunday.

By Wednesday of next week, beaches could see some hurricane swells.

Mountains could see a 20% chance of thunderstorms Sunday with a high of 89 degrees.

Deserts will be hot and humid, with a 20% chance of thunderstorms and a high of 105 degrees on Sunday.
