SoCal to heat up for weekend with some parts reaching triple-digit weather

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California will continue to see sunny and warm conditions on Sunday, with many parts seeing temperatures in the 80s and 90s.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Sunday will reach a high of 82 degrees after clouds dissipate in the morning and give way to sunny conditions. Temperatures will dip to 62 degrees at night.

The valleys and Inland Empire will reach 97 degrees on Sunday, with mostly warm and sunny conditions by the afternoon. Temperatures will dip to 67 degrees at night.

Beaches on Sunday will see mostly sunshine throughout the day with some breeze. A high of 73 degrees is expected.

Mountains will be sunny and warm Sunday amid with temperatures reaching 86 degrees.

Deserts will be very warm on Sunday. Conditions will be sunny as a high of 101 is expected.

The good news is after Sunday’s heat; it’s going to get a little cooler for the start of the work week.
