SoCal to see temperatures drop Friday as cooldown arrives in time for the weekend

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California will see cooler conditions on Friday, with temperatures returning to the 70s and 80s for the next few days.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Friday will see morning clouds and afternoon sunshine, as a high of 75 is on tap. Similar weather is expected through the weekend.

The valleys and Inland Empire on Friday will see temperatures fall to 80. Morning clouds and afternoon sunshine is expected Friday and Saturday.

Beaches will be cloudy and in the 60s for the next few days. A high of 66 is on tap Friday amid some breeze.

Mountain communities will be sunny and windy, with temperatures reaching a high of 72. It will be sunny and windy Saturday, but temperatures drop to 65.

Deserts will also cool down for the next few days. Windy conditions and temperatures in the mid-80s are expected Friday.
