SoCal forecast: Slight cooldown continues Monday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California continues a slight cooldown heading into the start of the work week.

Most regions will stay in the 70s with early morning clouds making way for afternoon sunshine.

Los Angeles and Orange counties will see some morning clouds and breezy conditions with temperature highs reaching 77 degrees on Monday. Temperatures at night will dip to 61 degrees.

Valleys and Inland Empire will be partly cloudy and breezy Monday as temperatures reach 86 degrees during the day, and drop to 60 degrees at night.

Beaches will experience breezy conditions as temperatures rise to 71 degrees on Monday. Overnight lows fall to 63 degrees.

Mountain communities will be mostly sunny and windy amid a high of 78 degrees Monday. Temperatures will dip to 41 degrees at night.

Deserts on Monday will be sunny and hot with a temperature high of 92 degrees. Overnight lows will drop to 67 degrees.
