Cooler weather returns to SoCal on Thursday paired with some light rain

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California will get much cooler weather with chances of rain on Thursday.

Los Angeles and Orange counties can expect temperatures in the high 60s during the day, but at night, there’s a 60% chance of some evening rain amid 53-degree weather.

Some parts may see about a quarter to half an inch of rain.

Similar conditions are on tap for the valleys and Inland Empire, with temperatures reaching 68 degrees. Temperatures drop to 53 degrees on with some evening rain as well.

Beaches will be mostly cloudy and cool during the day with a high of 64 degrees. The chances of rain increase as we get into the night.

Mountains will see temperatures in the high 50s. Some areas will get about 7 to 8 inches of snow.

Deserts will be cooler and may see some gusty winds. The temperature will reach 72 degrees in the afternoon, dropping to 35 at night. The region won’t see a chance of rain until Friday.
