SoCal weather: Sunny skies, hot temperatures on tap Monday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Hot conditions will stick around Monday, with desert communities surpassing 100 degrees.

Los Angeles and Orange counties will see morning fog make way for sunny skies and a high of 83 degrees. Temperatures will stay in the low 80s through the week.

The valleys and Inland Empire will be hotter with a high of 97 degrees on tap. Temperatures are forecasted to stay in the 90s all week.

Beaches will keep cool with temperatures in the 70s.

Deserts will be hot Monday with the region surpassing triple-digit temperatures. A high of 111 is expected.
