SoCal weather: Sunny skies, hot temperatures on tap Sunday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Hot conditions will stick around for the remainder of the weekend, with temperatures nearing 100 degrees in some areas Sunday.

Los Angeles and Orange counties will see morning fog make way for sunny skies and a high of 84 degrees. Temperatures will gradually begin to cool down by next weekend.

The valleys and Inland Empire will be hotter with a high of 97 degrees on tap. Temperatures are forecasted to stay in the 90s all week.

Beaches will keep cool with temperatures in the 70s

Deserts will be hot Sunday with many high desert areas hitting 113 degrees.
