SoCal weather: Morning fog, hot temperatures expected Friday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Temperatures are staying warm in Southern California after the clouds burn off Friday morning, while the weekend may bring thunderstorms.

Los Angeles and Orange counties will see some morning clouds, with a high of 80 degrees by afternoon. Temperatures will stay in the low to mid 80s through the weekend, with a chance of thunderstorms in Orange County on Sundauy.

The valleys and Inland Empire will be warm with a high of 90 degrees on Friday and a chance of thunderstorms on Sunday.

Beaches will keep cool with temperatures in the 70s through the weekend.

Deserts will be hot, hitting 98 on Friday and topping 100 over the weekend.
