SoCal weather: Humid conditions, chance of thunderstorms on tap Monday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California will continue to see warm and muggy conditions Monday, with monsoonal moisture bringing a chance of thunderstorms to most areas.

Los Angeles and Orange counties will see morning clouds, with a high of 84 degrees by the afternoon.

The valleys and Inland Empire will see a chance of thunderstorms, staying hot with a high of 97 degrees. Another round of possible thunderstorms will arrive on Thursday and Friday.

Mountain areas on Monday will have the biggest chance of thunderstorms, along with gusty winds and a high of 84 degrees.

The deserts will stay hot, topping 100 degrees with a 20% chance of thunderstorms.
